I don’t usually give extra notice for a Full Moon which is covered in the month’s astrological activity post, however, this weekend’s Full Moon crests on Saturday afternoon at 1 degree of Sagittarius, at 4:15 PM EST (add one hour for DST) in conjunction with Retrograde Mercury slowing to Stationary Direct on the 22nd at 14 degrees of Taurus at 8:20 AM EST, as it begins forward motion once again. I would expect there to be further slow downs and hiccups in anything new we are planning or delays in expected packages or mail. Also, transportation issues may arise, and our own automobiles may decide it’s time for some repair work. Computers are vulnerable, indeed any device — cell phone, tablet, pad can be at risk for failure. Communication can be confusing, so if meeting someone — make sure of the address — and get a phone number if possible! Just sayin’.
When Rx Mercury is slowing — just before it turns Direct, there seems to be a stronger energy for things to go awry, as if Mercury is holding on to its Rx mode and is unwilling to move forward. So anyone born at 1 degree of Gemini/Sagittarius, or having a major Planet at that degree, or anyone with a strong connection to 14 Degrees of Taurus — may find themselves with some delays, controversy, car trouble, travel issues, or just a computer glitch that comes out of nowhere!
It takes Rx Mercury a few days after being Stationary Direct to get moving forward once again with its full compliment of positive energy. So if possible, delay any new plans or ideas until a few days after the 22nd. Planning ahead is one of the benefits of knowing when the stars are aligned in your favor, and conversely, when they may be working against you.
We all traverse the Rx Mercury phases 3 0r 4 times a year, and usually we are only moderately influenced or disconcerted by some unseen events — but those times when Rx Mercury and a Full Moon appear together within a couple of days can wreak havoc on what we may have been planning. It’s best to be prepared for whatever eventualities occur if possible — or if you can — just go with the flow!
May the Force be with You!
